This is a freestanding freestanding desk, finished on all sides and designed to be displayed in the center of a room. Unlike the typical teak furniture of the period, this example is made from exclusive mahogany with a deep, warm tone – mahogany veneer and solid mahogany details – suggesting a custom commission or export model.

- Front: Three smoothly gliding drawers with original handles on the left. An elegant curved tambour door tambour door is located on the right.
- Secret bar cabinet: Behind the tambour door is one of the period’s most luxurious features – a bar cabinet section that rotates around a central axis, with storage for glasses and drinks.
- Back: Open shelving for displaying books, documents, or decorative items, plus a cabinet with one shelf, lockable with the included key.
Condition
The desk has been freshly and professionally restored and is in excellent condition. All mechanical components, the tambour door, and the rotating bar cabinet operate exceptionally smoothly. In keeping with the period and its small production run, no factory labels are present; its authenticity is confirmed by the master-level cabinetmaking and unique construction.
